A short distance from the Côte d’Azur, Cotignac is nestled at the foot of a tufa cliff, which is 80 metres high and 400 metres long. But the cultural heritage of the town is just as fantastic as its breathtaking natural scenery. Every year the Notre-Dame de Grâces church, founded in 1519 and the Saint-Jospeh du Bressillon monastery built in the 17th century, attract many visitors and pilgrims. The fertile land of the surrounding area means there are a lot of local culinary delicacies, in particular due to the brilliant vineyards and olive groves.
But is is also boasts some very famous nearby neighbours, including Brad Pitt, George and Amal Clooney, George Lucas and Bono to name but a few.
